FGYA Garba Night brings together families, friends, young people and the wider community to celebrate the vibrant traditions of Navratri, Garba and Dandiya. Whether you have been dancing Garba for years or are experiencing it for the first time, everyone is welcome to join the celebration.
Garba, Dandiya and Gujarati Culture
Garba Night is one of the most exciting celebrations associated with Navratri. Garba is a traditional Gujarati folk dance that brings people together through energetic music, colorful traditional clothing and vibrant group dancing.
At FGYA Garba Night in Suva, guests can look forward to an evening filled with lively Garba and Dandiya, festive music, colorful outfits and an incredible community atmosphere.
More than just a night of dancing, the event is an opportunity to celebrate Gujarati heritage, introduce younger generations to cultural traditions and share Gujarati culture with the wider community in Fiji.

You do not need to be Gujarati or an experienced Garba dancer to attend. FGYA Garba Night is open to everyone who wants to experience the excitement, color and energy of Navratri.
If you have never danced Garba before, this is the perfect opportunity to join in, learn along the way and enjoy the celebration with friends and family.
Come dressed in your favorite traditional attire, bring your Dandiya sticks and get ready for a memorable night at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.

Take advantage of our Early Bird Adult Tickets for only $10, available until Thursday, 8 October 2026.
After the early-bird period ends, adult tickets purchased at the gate on 9 October will be $15.
